Rustomji-Kerns, Roshni

Roshni Rustomji-Kerns (Ph.D., U of California-Berkeley), Professor Emerita at Sonoma State University, is currently Visiting Scholar at the Center for Latin American Studies, Stanford University (1996-1998). Born in India and educated in India, Pakistan, Lebanon, Mexico, and the United States, she is the coeditor of Blood into Ink: South Asian and Middle Eastern Women Write War (Westview, 1994) and the editor of Living in America: Fiction and Poetry by South Asian American Writers (Westview, 1995). Her essays have appeared in many journals and in The Heath Anthology of American Literature and The Oxford Companion to Women Writing in the United States. Rustomji-Kerns's short stories have been included in the anthologies
